The Acadia Creative Placemaking collective organized summer artist workshops in the Acadia Community Garden. We worked with the plants from the garden to create botanical inks, then screenprinted images of garden flowers onto reclaimed cotton fabric. We used the botanical ink and flower design to print a very special long tablecloth for the community table. Special thanks to Sharon for preparing the tablecloth fabric and to Lynda for the beautiful sewing job.
